| I'm sure SOMEONE on here has heard of Edgar Cayce. I was just wondering what your thoughts were?
Personally, I believe he is what we would call a modern prophet. In any case, if you would like to know more about Edgar Cayce, here is a link to the organization.

| I have read some Edgar Cayce, but not a lot. I'll have to go back and re-read to voice an opinion. An author I read a ton of is Ernest Holmes. | |

Well, I admit I haven't read much of anything he wrote, but he is credited with some pretty amazing things. He would go into a deep meditation and do "readings" for people. He would say that it wasn't him speaking but a higher power, and he would be able to diagnose and accurately prescribe treatment for individuals with at the time, undiagnosable and untreatable illnesses. He also did readings for people with loved ones in WWII and supposedly predicted with 100% accuracy their location and if they were well or had been killed in battle. Not only this but he made numerous prophesies about political events. It was pretty amazing stuff. I think he also predicted the discovery of Atlantis at some point in the near future. | |
